    THE BIBLE on History Channel

While very inaccurate (for example, Samson turns black when all his forefathers weren't -- Manoah’s wife, the mother of Samson, is included among the twenty-three truly upright and righteous women who came forth from Israel) I've been watching the first six segments of THE BIBLE from the History Channel. It has "highs and lows" overall but interesting current news is this:

Satan looks suspiciously like Obama in 'The Bible' miniseries

Is it just a coincidence that the actor who plays Satan in the History Channel's miniseries "The Bible" looks like President Obama? Hundreds of viewers noted the resemblance on Twitter when the devil showed up in Sunday night's episode — although most weren't sure whether the casting of actor Mohamen Mehdi Ouazanni was coincidence, or whether the presence of an Obama lookalike was some sort of political statement. Maybe it was just revenge for that time "Game of Thrones" depicted George W. Bush's severed head on a stick?

They probably would like us to be distracted with the notion that Obama is Satan. That would keep us busy with idle wonderings!

How is this? I don't watch TV any more really.

It was admittedly a well-done series on certain segments.

But others were downright blasphemous and upsetting.

Worth a skip-through for the seasoned Identist!

Personally, I thought it was crap, that is the parts I paid attention to.

More judeo nonsense claiming to be "true to the Book" -- phooey!
“The righteous mother of the seven children spake also as follows to her offspring: I was a pure virgin, and went not beyond my father’s house; but I took care of the built-up rib. No destroyer of the desert, or ravisher of the plain, injured me; nor did the destructive, deceitful, snake, make spoil of my chaste virginity; and I remained with my husband during the period of my prime.” (4 Maccabees 18:7-8)

The fun segment were the Ninja angels who rescued Lot and family from Sodom. Slicing-and-dicing rather than blinding the inhospitable Sodomites (who were NOT depicted as homosexuals, of course).
