Parable of the Pearl ()

Jeromy John Visser, January 20, 2016
Part of the Thomas' Gospel series, preached at a Wednesday Evening service

Parable of the Pearl examines Yahshua's story from the Gospel of Thomas (saying 76) and compares the account to Matthew 13:45-46 to establish wisdom should be most desired in life. Christ equates the Kingdom of God to a merchant that sold all he possessed to obtain a single "pearl of great price." This sermon attempts to explain thus Job 28:18 and the virtuous woman from Proverbs are also covered.
