(Raw Text:)

hello again dear kids fokin thank you for joining me I'm pastor Visser a beautiful downtown Brooks Georgia in the covenant peoples Church and outreach and this Wednesday evening November 22nd I'm pleased to announce that we will be continuing our scrutinize ation of every word spoken by the minor prophet Micah and by way of review I have actually chosen the Book of Micah because I personally feel that it relates to our current apostasy today because Micah would come in and doesn't blame anybody else except for the rulers of the Israelite men women and children and the Israelites themselves for actually putting up with and tolerating false prophets who will come in and tickle their ears and being that we left off in micah chapter 3 verse 1 this is where we're going to begin because it says here I pray you O heads of Jacob and ye princes of the house of Israel is it not for you to know judgment and last weekend we left off right there with that question and I wanted you to actually ponder it because who was the law given to who ultimately was supposed to exercise the Mosaic law well it was meant to be in high priest however then like now we would rather hand off judgment to other people false prophets therefore in Micah chapter 3 he begins to outline the eight sins of the Israelite teachers and basically lays all fault at their feet verse two who hate the good and love the evil who pluck off their skin from off of them and their flesh from off of their bones who the Israelites remember in Chapter two we devoted a fair amount of time to looking at usually when Yahweh God delivers his people they go and they live delicately meaning they become fat they become prosperous and then they turn their back on Yahweh God however here we learn that there are heads of Jacob there are princes amongst the house of Israel who hate good and love evil and the way Micah puts it they pluck off the skin from off the Israelites and their flesh from off of their bones some manuscripts don't put pluck at all they put strip but from this point Micah is about to outline the sins of the false prophet and he begins by pointing out that they live off of the Israelite men women and children to one degree or another that they're not profiting on the sins of Israel then they usually are coming in and saying well you don't have to follow the law right or like the Pharisees of old manipulating the law now what's interesting about Micah is at the time he wrote this and by the time we get to the end of chapter 3 here you will see Micah chastises our race for not being spirit led because if we were spiritual we would be able to discern who is true and who is not right however there are men most oftentimes the rulers of our people that reward the wicked and punish the righteous and I always find it quite entertaining how even men who profess my title go out and say hey you know I'm good friends with the police yeah are you gonna be good friends with the police when they come and arrest you for speaking the truth or crucify you has Jerusalem the object of Micah's rebuke did all the genuine prophets and Christ clearly said Jerusalem Jerusalem the city that slays the prophets what we're looking at right here is important because it teaches that if we were spiritually in tune with Yahweh God we wouldn't be hoodwinked and God would not have to lay out his plagues upon an unruly and a disobedient bride verse 3 in Micah 3 continues who also eat the flesh of my people and lay their skin from off of them and they break their bones and chop them in pieces as for the pot and as flesh within the culture and now in order for you to really understand what it is Micah saying here you need to understand the Hebrew terminology that he's discussing turn with me to the 14th Psalm it is here that David writes pretty much on what micah is here we learn in verse 2 yahweh looked down from heaven upon the children of men that's the polite way of saying the adamite or the children of a Hado to see if there were any that did understand and seek god they're all gone aside they are all together become filthy there is not one that does good no not one have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge who eat up my people as they do eat bread but yet they call not upon Yahweh God what does David say right there in the fourteenth Psalm technically exactly what Micah sang in chapter 3 verse 3 and that is that there are men who self ordain themselves they'll come in and say well I'm a preacher too right but they don't know Yahweh God they don't know his judgment they don't know his name and make a living off of the Israelites by quote/unquote eating their flesh and there are men who will come in and tell you to take this literally and there's really nothing wrong with that if you choose to take this spiritual teaching literally but I asked you there obviously it's a group of people that have to live off of the sins of others correct the curse that was laid out in the very beginning in Genesis chapter 3 the curse laid on to Adam was that he would tell the earth and that it would not bring forth substance unto him however to the serpent he said that he will eat dust all the days of his life meaning he will eat the dust from which Adam was created and I know in many ways that's a study for another day but these men and women eat the flesh of my people what is the famine and the end times well it's obviously for the Word of God but have you ever considered with your finger in the Psalms the 27th song it is here where we learn a beautiful statement right at the very beginning David says Yahweh is my light and my salvation so whom shall I fear Yahweh is the strength of my life thus whom shall I be afraid of when the wicked even mine enemies and my foes came upon me to eat up my flesh they stumbled and fell some manuscripts don't put eat at all they put devour meaning there are men out there who don't care if you live or die in fact at the end of the day you're more profitable and to them dead why because they profit on the sins of Israel easy to come in and say you don't have to follow the law why well all sin is a transgression of God's law david says when the wicked his own enemies his own foes came to eat or devour his flesh they stumbled and fell going right back to what we covered exactly a week ago it was David who said the Word of God or his testimonies are in heritage right but also proved from joelle that part of that heritage is this protection that when the wicked come against you they will stumble they will fall and verse 3 in the 27th Psalm continues though an host should encamp around me my heart shall not beer through the war should rise against me and this I will be confident one thing I have desired of Yahweh that I will seek after that I may dwell in the house of yahweh all the days of my life to behold the beauty of yahweh pay close attention and to inquire in his temple bringing it full circle back to the Book of Micah because in context Micah's rebukes are against two high places one known as Jerusalem the other known as Samaria both of which were huge towns in the land of Judea but have just like we do today false prophets who will come in profess to work for the temple of God but as we have already proven they don't know God at all and they make their living off of eating the flesh of you your children and your eventual offspring your future progeny also meant to be in heritage to the Israelite men women and children now I'd like you to consider before we actually move on from Micah chapter 3 verse 3 a statement as it is found in the major prophet more minor prophet we could say Zephaniah I call them major because Zephaniah is quite bigger than Zechariah but in Zephaniah chapter 3 I want you to consider verse 1 murderer that is filthy and polluted to the oppressing City she'll beg not the voice she received not correction she trusted not many all a God she drew not near on to her creator her princes within her are roaring lions her judges are evening wolves they know not the bones and told the morrow or until the morning verse four of Zephaniah chapter three her profits are light and treacherous persons her priests have polluted the sanction air sanctuary and they hot gun violence unto the law what does Myka say right at the very beginning of chapter 4 he says oh here I pray you O heads of Jacob Oh princes of the house of Israel is it not for you to know judgment yet Zephaniah clearly straightforwardly says that Jerusalem is an oppressing polluted city that does not obey the voice of Yahweh God will not receive correction no matter how many times he sends it why because the princes a polite way of saying rulers and in context what Micah's discussing in Chapter three those princes are roaring Lions just as the devil to whom we are instructed to be on guard for why because our adversary the devil walks around as a roaring what lion seeking whom he may devour so we learn right at the very beginning of Zephaniah chapter three at least the just Yahweh is in the midst thereof he will not do iniquity every morning Yahweh brings judgment to light and he falls not however the unjust know no shame have you ever stopped to truly consider that the unjust a polite way of saying beyond righteous don't know shame truly there is no fear of Yahweh God before their eyes because if there were or was they would not go out and tolerate many of the things that they do therefore the stay and this is my own paraphrase Durkin so usually that the adversaries of Yahweh God come in and take or add it's the fear of God because who a man fears he's brought under bondage by we serve the God we fear and so many of us I know are sitting and beer phul for the future but perfect love meaning Yahweh God is supposed to cast out all fear fear is not of Yahweh God we are instructed to fear God so back in Micah chapter 3 now that we have confirmed exactly what he's discussing we learned in verse 4 they shall cry unto Yahweh but he will not hear them he will even hide his face from them at that time as they have behaved themselves ill in all of their doings that foreign to the Word of God not at all in fact it grieved Yahweh God to a created man within the flesh because their thoughts were evil continually here is a double confirmation of that fact they will cry unto Yahweh many of our people are but Yahweh will not hearken why the key is answered right here or provided they have the sake behaved themselves ill and their doings I truly want to digress right here because I feel this is very important we want to be hurt of Yahweh God then we really need to not be like this right we cannot behave L in our doings which is a polite way of saying lawlessness turn with me back to the Psalms but I want you to consider the 18th in light of what we look at in Micah chapter 3 verse 4 and the 18 so we learned beginning in verse 39 thou hast girdled me with strength unto the battle now Yahweh has subdued under me those that rose up against me as we have already covered today they cried but there was none to save them even unto Yahweh but he answered them not then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind I did cast him out as the dirt in the streets what does that prove that often times Yahweh God as is outlined within the Mosaic law will turn his ear from hearing the prayer of the iniquitous those that are as Micah says behaving themselves ill in their doings it's not the only place however turn with me to the book of Proverbs in proverbs chapter 1 I want you to consider a statement beginning in verse 26 Yahweh God says I will laugh at your calamity God speaking I will mock when your fear comes when your fear comes as desolation and your destruction comes as a whirlwind when distress and anguish comes upon you pay close attention proverbs chapter 1 verse 28 then shall they all call upon me but I won't answer they shall seek me early but will not find me for that they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of Yahweh God they would none of my counsel they despised my reproof therefore they shall eat up the fruit of their own way and be filled with their own devices so perhaps that actually sheds a bit of light on what we're discussing right here in verse 4 of Micra chapter 3 the Israelites shall cry unto Yahweh but Yahweh won't hear them and it's not because Yahweh God is sadistic it's because of the Israelites what they were willing to tolerate what they were willing to choose and so miss you November 22nd 2017 what do you choose do you choose to have man rule over you when you know full well that the Word of God clearly says that usually the way of the princes of God's people or tool of evil and hate good they're the very ones that consented unto the death of Yahshua and that is these rulers of our people today are they who consent unto the death of the genuine prophets don't believe me well turn with me to the book of the major prophet Isaiah but I want you to consider what Isaiah says because it's very similar to what we've already covered in Zephaniah however Isaiah chapter 1 and in verse 15 there's a beautiful statement here once I'm turned to it we learn in verse 12 when you come to appear before me Yahweh speaking who has required this at your hand to tread my courts bring no more vain ablations incense this is an abomination unto me the new moons and Sabbath's the combing of assemblies I cannot away with it is iniquity even the solemn meeting your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hates Yahweh God speaking and isn't it interesting how we usually look to Roman's or to Malachi he to point out that God hated Esau well God also hates our new moons are appointed feasts our solemn assemblies why because he only delighted in the sacrifice that was made by Jesus Christ but it didn't stop men from coming in and circumventing the work he did on the cross like they do today and saying hey you know what let's go ahead and have disappointed feast y'all a God does not care okay that is if you do that in place of Christ the lamb slain before the foundation of the world verse 15 and when you spread forth your hands I will hide my eyes from you yea when you make many prayers I will not hear because your hands are full of blood who those that deny Christ and go back to the Mosaic law those that are observers of times festivals Tabernacles all of which were forbidden by Yahweh God so we learn in verse 4 of Micah chapter 3 they shall cry unto Yahweh but he won't hear them and that is why we're looking at this today we're gonna take a one-minute break I want you to listen to this would like to thank you for once again rejoining me here on YouTube covenant peoples ministry dot org patreon and any other venue that you're hearing this particular livestream act the date is November 22nd it is a Wednesday evening and before that break and that information was given we left off in micah chapter 3 verse 4 where we learned that many of these rulers of the israelites and the israelites included will seek Yahweh God they will make many prayers unto him but Yahweh God will close up his ears from hearing them now why for no reason for specific reasons in fact there are 8 reasons outlined that we're about to move into notice verse 5 of Micah chapter 3 thus saith Yahweh concerning the prophets that make my people err that bite with their teeth and cry peace and he puts naught into their mouths they even prepare for war against hemp Yahweh God why is that important because it obviously ties right into the book of Revelation at the second advent when Yahshua returns many of the nations on the face of the earth or Seth in array to make war with the return of the king why well short answer is because they hain't good and love evil this is one of the few reasons why we are instructed to not know the thoughts of the wicked because their unknown or not at least able to be known by us thus says Yahweh concerning whom the prophets what is a prophet prophet in Hebrew and Greek merely means one who teaches so a man could come in and lie and say well I'm no preacher right of just a teacher I'm not a false prophet when in reality there's no prophet because prophet means second thing is this they bite with their teeth and cry how do they do that except by false Dogma in context what we're looking at or the profits that make Yahweh's people err why because they pay good love evil now the Word of God the law is meant to be at least a yardstick to keep you on the straight and narrow so this prophecy is given against teachers and notice that those teachers don't come in while they bite with their teeth and say war no rather they come in and say peace just as Paul wrote about in the New Testament they say peace peace when there is no peace and all the while usually like at the time of Micah while these wicked Israelite men are ruling over us and espousing peace unity they're doing everything they can behind the scenes to destroy or to murder the genuine prophets and I truly understand this in fact this year I had to remove myself from a particular venue that quiet cries and claims unity all the time but seemingly every single time they turn around are doing just this trying to define and bite with their teeth oh they talk peace but they can't have peace and that is why I have clearly said from this menu I don't want unity with the enemy and most of our enemy arty to me aren't the Canaanite they're our own people 80% of all Old Testament prophecy is in a rebuke against the Israelites and/or their own prophets very little has to do with Sodom Gomorrah Esau Edom and/or the land of Canaan so that again brings me to why I have chosen to actually preach mica we need to take responsibility now you can point your finger at false prophets who can even point your finger at the adversary of Yahweh God but they are a symptom of our own sins okay so back in Micah chapter 3 verse 6 Yahweh says therefore night shall be unto you and you shall not have a vision and it shall be dark unto you that you shall not divine and the Sun shall go down over the prophets and the day shall be dark over them now I'm allowing we're gonna actually digress right here but your mind should already be moving to Matthew chapter 24 for example where Christ clearly said that one of the signs that perceives his second Advent meaning what will be going on on earth right before he returns to reclaim this bride is the Sun the moon and the stars shall not give their light what do we learn here in verse 6 because these prophets make Yahweh's people err the Israelites therefore night shall be on for unto you we are not of the night we are of the light right that's what Paul says you shall not have a vision it shall not be what it shall be dark unto you and you shall not divine why because the Sun has gone down over the prophets therefore many people contact me and they say well why is it that Yahweh God would allow this to be how come this angle Israel message to paraphrase wasn't known and the short answer is it was always as we have proven there is a remnant within the remnant but if Yahweh God prophesied at the times of Micah and at the times of Isaiah that the prophets will no longer prophesy truth unto you only the things of the dark and we better pay close attention turn with me very quickly back to the major prophet Isaiah and I want you to consider what he says in the eighth chapter in Isaiah chapter eight we learned beginning in verse eighteen behold I and the children whom Yahweh has given me are for signs and wonders in Israel from Yahweh of hosts which dwells in Mount Zion and when they shall say unto you seek unto them that have familiar spirits and under wizards that peep and that mutter should not a people seek their God for the living to the dead to the law and to the testimony if they speak not according to this word it is because there is no light within them no light within them what did John say within his epistles in the New Testament how do we know who is born of Yahweh God and born of the devil how do we know who walks within the light and who abides within darkness even until now the answer is provided right here continue reading and they shall pass through it hardly but stead and hungry and when it shall come to pass that when they shall be hungry they'll fret themselves and the curse their king though curse their God to look upward to Yahweh God and they'll look under the earth and behold only trouble only darkness dimness of anguish and they shall not might not possibly shall be driven unto darkness why for their own disobedience for their own tolerance of the false prophet who will come in tickle their ears and tell them basically what they want to hear and Isaiah isn't the only one here in the eighth chapter for example consider the 29th chapter of Isaiah in Isaiah chapter 29 we learn just as Micah says right here in verse six beginning in verse 10 for all the tables are full of vomit and filthiness they err in vision they stumble in judgment whom shall he teach knowledge whom shall he make to understand doctrine them that are weaned from the milk and drawn from the breath for precept must be upon precept precept upon precept line upon line line upon line here a little there a little why is this important because this was quoted by Paul and his first letter to the Corinthians chapter 14 verse 21 where we learn that with stammering lips and another tongue Yahweh will speak unto this people so is this foreign to the Word of God that night shall come they will not have a vision it'll be dark they'll not be able to divine they won't be able to know knowledge not at all because Christ clearly taught in parables so that the majority of the world would not understand and so that the remnant the Sheep of Yahweh's pasture would recognize their Good Shepherd and would follow verse 7 in Micah chapter 3 continuous then shall the seers be ashamed and the diviners confounded gay they shall all cover their lips because there is no answer of God some manuscripts don't put confounded at all in verse 7 they actually put embarrassed and I feel that's almost a better rendering because when your entire worldview is changed when you come to the truth of God's Word which is usually 90 percent of the time opposite of what the false prophet teach you should be ashamed and not only should you be ashamed you should be angry at the men and women that mess lets you because your key is provided right here in mica they're false prophets because they don't have the light within them because they don't know Yahweh God what is a greater offense to physically assault somebody or to spiritually assault them thus these spiritual teachings and the terminology that they devour the Israelites they make their living off of your own sins and how did does the false prophet do it by coming in and saying you know what you don't have to follow the law that's what they were doing at the time of Micah don't believe me turn with me back to Amos the minor prophet I really like Amos because he's one of the most racially exclusive of the Minor Prophets but consider an Amos chapter 8 verse 11 behold the days come say yea a god that I will send a famine in the land not a famine of bread nor a thirst of water but for hearing the words of Yahweh God and they shall wonder or wonder from sea to sea from the north even unto the east they shall run to and fro to seek the word of Yahweh and shall not find it and that day shall all the fair virgins and the young men faith for thirst why is this important well as I have pointed out Amos and Micah were quite similar than what it was that they talked but it was Amos who clearly taught that the famine in the end times isn't for a literal bread not for something that you eat but for hearing the Word of God and I ask you my friends how many preachers out there will tell you the truth of God's Word and how many will tell you to look to the Jerusalem of old ninety-five percent of them because they love evil and hain't good will tell you to look to the middle east for fulfillment of prophecy when the only prophecies that are by Jerusalem would be it's leveling and/or destruction and ultimately Yahweh God coming back to judge among the nations in the Valley of Hinnom and that of course is a study for another day but notice amos is straightforward in what he says he says the days will come that i will send a famine within the land so whose responsibility is in judgment you can't turn around and blame Billy Graham when Billy Graham is a false prophet sent by Yahweh God so that there would be famine within the land second point there'll be more famine within the land there will be more teachers and/or prophets being silent as the time goes on because the days get perpetually more evil unless you support the truth-teller that's a given Micah was attacking his own people for supporting these false prophets and not only that for desiring them to come in and what eat their own children live off of the spiritual destruction that they were causing then shall the seers be ashamed or embarrassed and the diviners confounded they shall cover all their lips because there is no answer from or of God verse 8 but truly I am full of power by the spirit of Yahweh and of judgment and of might to declare unto Jacob his transgression and to Israel listen I know in many ways you probably never heard that before because there are false prophets even in Christian identity will come in and tell you while you're Israelite you're the greatest thing since sliced bread no not according to scripture the Israelites are the only nation known by Yahweh God but also the only nation that hurt Yahweh God the only nation that he considered to be horse ok and adulterers so I want you to consider Isaiah chapter 58 but right in verse one cry aloud spare not lift up thy voice like a trumpet and show my people their transgression and the house of Jacob their sins yet they seek me daily and delight to know my legs as a nation that did righteousness past tense and forsook not the ordinance of God also past tense they ask of me the ordinances of justice and they take delight in approaching to God where for we have fasted they say and they'll see us not therefore we have afflicted our soul they say and you take no knowledge behold and the day of your best you find pleasure and exact all your Labor's behold you fast for strife and debate and to smite with the fist of wickedness you shall not fast as you do this day to make your own voice to be heard upon high so we see time and time again that the Israelite men women and children have no problem becoming an enemy and or atmos Ariel to Yahweh God and we do so by preferring the false prophet and or teacher who will come in and ironically chop us into pieces for the pot and eat of our flesh as it is for the cauldron they live off of you the false prophet like Billy Graham Joel Osteen John Hagee etc and meanwhile the genuine prophets barely make a living therefore it's extremely important you are responsible for who you support okay birds of a feather truly do flock together so back here in Micah chapter 3 we're gonna leave it right here in verse 8 but truly I am full of power by the spirit of Yahweh and of judgment and of his might to declare unto Jacob his transgression and Israel his sin how is transgression how is sin discerned spiritually therefore that brings us right to exactly the main point of Micah chapter three abide within this spirit and if you do that you won't allow the false prophet to come in and draw off of you to eat your children okay to eat you and consume you in that process we tend to think we right you me in the flesh when in reality we are in the spirit and the man who destroys a man's spirit who quenches the spirit is 10 times worse than a man who physically assaults the Bride of Christ and so until next time this is pastor mr. Brooks Georgia wishing you and your entire family great studies and always war for Christ
