Revelation (Part #37) (Revelation 19:7-10)

Jeromy John Visser, May 16, 2018
Part of the Revelation series, preached at a Wednesday Evening service

Revelation (Part #37) sets the groundwork for the final three chapters of John's Apocalypse by scrutinizing Yahshua's parables of the Great Banquet, Wedding Feast and Ten Virgins. Many are called but FEW are chosen! By studying these allegories alongside the future "marriage supper of the Lamb" we're able to confirm the wedding garments of Yahweh's Israelite bride "is the righteousness of the saints."

Revelation 19:7-10

7Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. 8And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. 9And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. 10And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. (KJV)
