War in Scripture provides a basic overview of warfare in both Testaments of the Bible while proving not only does Yahweh allow war but oftentimes commands it. Are Christians to thank veterans for their freedom? Why did Trump bomb Syria? Will any war of man ever be profitable? Many of these answers are provided in this energetic sermon designed to inspire Christian “soldiers” to war for Christ.
The Soldier’s Psalm is an expository lecture covering the entire 91st “warrior’s” Psalm that was essential to both the 91st Brigade during World War I and Yahshua the Christ during His temptations by Satan. Unfortunately the radio network dropped the last five minutes of this Covenant Gathering broadcast thus this sermon’s conclusion is taken from the security (studio) recording in order to deliver the punchline.
All Fools’ Sermon is a unique April Fool’s Day broadcast examining the topic of fools and foolishness in the Holy scripture. Our hope with this lecture is to aid in stopping the willful deception (or lies) against our people by starting with ourselves. This Covenant Gathering episode delves into the Psalms and Proverbs before scrutinizing two detailed parables of Yahshua; the Rich Young Fool and Five Foolish Virgins.
Men-pleasers! uses the fourth Psalm of Solomon to compare the sincere preacher with those considered hypocrites by Yahweh for hiding behind His infinite Law. This study into the Gnostic book proves that bastards are never satisfied. Deceitful pastors have abilities like serpents to destroy the wisdom of the Saints therefore wise king Solomon explains that understanding is the foremost thing as he did in Proverbs.
Father of Knowledge (Part #2) finalizes our double-study into Odes of Solomon 7:15-28 by explaining true education comes from the Father of Knowledge and usually isn’t found in secular universities. Excessive hatred and jealousy are both traits of ignorance thus this sermon into “the great and terrible Day of the Lord” showcases several lesser-known facts pertaining to Israel’s definitive judgment by Yahweh.
Father of Knowledge (Part #1) proves Christ is Yahweh by covering Odes of Solomon 7:1-14 highlighting the two inclinations of man. This introductory sermon of two parts shows that wise Solomon was extended grace to “learn Him” from the Father of Knowledge. True wisdom “is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated” (James 3:17) thus king Solomon taught similar to the disciples.
The Strange Woman explains how king Solomon infuriated Yahweh by taking wives from the heathen nations (I Kings 1:11) but focuses more on his own warnings against miscegenation from Proverbs. Foreign women are forbidden thus this sermon clarifies how Christian men and women are to conduct themselves in choosing mates providing sufficient proof that Yahweh disapproves of mixed relationships.
Solomon’s Stranger Wives (CPM Sessions) evaluates two different sermons about wise king Solomon’s grievous mistake of taking foreign wives. We begin with Pastor Visser explaining how Solomon angered Yahweh from 2005 and conclude with additions from the minor prophet Nehemiah on the same topic preached eight years later. An effective topical sermon where listeners can compare two styles.
I have a question about this Psalm.
Where it states ” I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High”
What exactly does that mean??
Psalm 82: 1God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
2How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
3Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
4Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
5They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
6I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
7But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
8Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
Jesus said there was none wiser than King Solomon! Still, Pastor Visser provides warnings against miscegenation and mixing from the Holy Bible and explains how even Solomon angered Yahweh by taking women from other races and serving their idiotic gods. Scriptures from Proverbs 5 and Ezra-Nehemiah further support the claim that Yahweh desires “kind after kind.”
